“Dear Dr. Zhou,

Thank you and Johanna very much for your help in my case!   I got the note (on EB-1A approval) last night through email notice after I set it up on USCIS web.

I will send out payment to you for 140 once I receive the approval notice from USCIS.  I got a copy of the receipt notice yesterday, so I expect to get the approval notice directly from USCIS again.

Thank you again for your help!

Client”

Background: Attorney Jian Joe Zhou filed EB-1A for the client in early March 2012 with request for premium processing service and the case was approved in one day.  USCIS’s approval email notice came the same day the client received the receipt notice.  Client has a Ph.D. in bioengineering filed, with around 15 publications and 100 independent citations.  Reviewed around two dozens of journal papers and served as an editorial member for one journal.  Online reports on major media of client’s achievements.

Attorney Comments: There are many reports and also experience of more chance of RFE on premium processing cases for EB-1.  In general, we do not recommend premium processing.  However, cases with solid foundation still can take advantage of the premium processing service for a fast approval and it apparently that fast approval is still possible for strong cases.
