New NIW Successful Stories (36) Ms. Lee Ms. Lee is a gifted scientist with exceptional abilities and outstanding accomplishments in the research field of molecular mechanism of oligodendrocyte development. She obtained her master’s degree in a prestigious Chinese university and also possesses about 10 years of research experience in biomedical science. Ms. Lee’s petition was submitted at the end of June and got approved in early September 2006. Dr. Lee Dr. Lee is an experienced professional in the research field of synthetic organic and medicinal chemistry by virtue of his Master’s degree in organic chemistry from a famous university in Korea. Then he came to the US for his further study and obtained his Ph.D. degree in synthetic organic chemistry from a top American university. Dr. Lee has continuously generated significant contributions to the field of synthetic organic and medicinal chemistry, in an effort to design and develop effective and safe therapies for use in the treatment of serious medical diseases and conditions ranging from cancers to metabolic disorders. He also has dedicated his research efforts to advancing the understanding of organic products and developing the methods to synthesize these products. Because of his excellent record in gastroenterology, he was awarded a research fellowship at a professional association, and was selected to participate in a study funded by the NIH.
