INS Memo Provides Guidance on Adjudication of H-1B Petitions for Nurses

An 11/27/02 INS memo provides guidance to the field on the adjudication of H-1B petitions for registered nurses. The memo clarifies that while typical RNs generally do not meet the requirements for H-1B classification, aliens in certain specialized RN occupations are more likely than typical RNs to be eligible for H-1B status.
