Visa Bulletin Moves Slightly for December

Department of State released the latest Visa Bulletin for December 2006 on November 14. There are slight moves compared to last month.

For people born in mainland China filing employment-based immigration petitions, cut-off dates remain the same as last month for EB1 (Current), and cut-off dates for EB2 moved 7 days (from April 15th, 2005 to April 22nd, 2005); cut-off dates for EB3 moved forward 1 month to August 1st, 2002.

The situation gets better for people born in India too. EB1 is CURRENT; EB2 moves to January 8th, 2003, only moving 1 week, and EB3 remains the same as November, staying on April 22nd, 2001.

Unfortunately, Visa Bulletin for Schedule A workers (Nurses) got worse, it’s “Unavailable” now. "Unavailable" means no numbers are available for any applicants.

Worldwide, Visa numbers are CURRENT for both EB1 and EB2, EB3 moves to August 1st 2002.
