US Senate Passes Proposal adding 30,000 more H-1B per Year Regular readers of Hooyou.com may recall that we posted a piece of news titled with Senate Judiciary Committee Proposal Adding 30,000 More H-1Bs per Fiscal Year more than ten days ago. Several days ago, this proposal passed the U.S. Senate, with a 52 to 47 vote. It means that this proposal moves further towards becoming a law. However, like we mentioned last time, in order to finally become a law, both the U.S. Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives would have to approve the proposal, and the U.S. President would have to sign the bill.
