US Senate Passes Proposal adding 30,000 more H-1B per Year

Regular readers of Hooyou.com may recall that we posted a piece of news titled with Senate Judiciary Committee Proposal Adding 30,000 More H-1Bs per Fiscal Year more than ten days ago. Several days ago, this proposal passed the U.S. Senate, with a 52 to 47 vote. It means that this proposal moves further towards becoming a law.

However, like we mentioned last time, in order to finally become a law, both the U.S. Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives would have to approve the proposal, and the U.S. President would have to sign the bill. Now this proposal will face the review from the U.S. House of Representatives. We will track and post the latest progress in time.
