DOL Confirms the Issue Between PERM and Old Pending RIR

As AILA's DOL liaison is working closely with the DOL about all the issues of the PERM labor certification, AILA has the confirmation from DOL about the existence of a policy requiring withdrawal of pending RIR at a BEC on filing of PERM. The DOL confirms that there is no such policy at the current time, and the DOL is not withdrawing old pending RIR cases simply because a PERM application is certified.
