Visa Bulletin Moves Slightly for November

Department of State released the latest Visa Bulletin for November 2006 on October 10. There are slight moves compared to last month. However, Visa Bulletin for Schedule A workers (Nurses) retrogressed dramatically.

For people born in mainland China filing employment-based immigration petitions, cut-off dates remain the same as last month for EB1 (Current), and cut-off dates for EB2 moved 15 days (from April 1st, 2005 to April 15th, 2005); cut-off dates for EB3 moved forward 2 months to July 1st, 2002.

The situation gets better for people born in India too. EB1 is CURRENT; EB2 moves to January 1st, 2003, and EB3 remains the same as for October, staying on April 22nd, 2001.

Unfortunately, Visa Bulletin for Schedule A workers (Nurses) retrogressed to October 1st, 2005, for people born in anywhere in the world outside of the US.

Worldwide, Visa numbers are CURRENT for both EB1 and EB2, EB3 moves to July 1st 2002.
