Visa Bulletin Cut-Off Dates for August

Department of State released the latest Visa Bulletin for August 2006. There is no progress.

For people born in mainland China filing employment-based immigration petitions, cut-off dates remain the same as last month for all three categories (EB1: Current; EB2: March 1st, 2005; EB3: October 1st, 2001). However, the situation gets worse for people born in India. EB1 doesn’t change (January 1st, 2006); EB2 is “unavailable;” and EB3 went back to April 1st, 2001 from April 15th, 2001 in July.
