Recent I-140 Petitions Transferred from CSC to TSC

Lately, large quantities of I-140 petitions which were filed to CSC ( California Service Center ) in recent months have been transferred to TSC ( Texas Service Center ). Some clients are concerned of this event. However, this is a promising move in the service centers. Since 2005, TSC has been much faster than CSC in processing I-140 petitions. CSC transfers the petitions to TSC probably because of its large backlog of cases.

USCIS has established four service centers: Vermont , Nebraska , Texas , and California . The four service centers differ in jurisdiction, not in competence. Therefore, a client whose petition has been transferred from CSC to TSC should be happy because this event may expedite the processing of your case. In addition, this is good news to clients of Zhang & Associates. Zhang & Associates has established a hotline with the TSC to facilitate communications between our attorneys and immigration officers. Our attorneys occasionally discuss cases with immigration officers through this hotline, having expedited many cases.
