Cut-Off Dates Move Forward in March 2006According to visa bulletin for March 2006 released by Department of State on February 9, 2006, cut-off date continues to leap for those people born in mainland China who filed employment-based immigration petitions. Cut-off date of EB1 moves January 1, 2003 to July 1, 2003 (6 months). Cut-off date of EB2 moves from April 1, 2002 to July 1, 2002 (3 months). Cut-off date of EB3 moves from April 22, 2001 to May 1, 2001. We predict that EB-2 and EB-1 keep moving quickly in the next a few months. Therefore, if you consider applying for employment-based immigration and have an option to choose any one of these categories, EB-1 and EB-2 including NIW should be the first choice.
