BEC Expects to Finish all LC Cases by 9/30/07

As reported by the Department of Labor, As of January 25, 2007 the Backlog Elimination Center completed 67% of the backlog, and it expects to eliminate all backlog cases by 9/30/07.

In addition, the Department of Labor is preparing a legislative proposal to charge a PERM application fee. The amount of the proposed PERM application fee is not disclosed for the time being.  We suggest potential applicants start their applications as soon as possible.
