1364 H-1B Visas Left for US Advance Degree holder as of 12/27/06

According to USCIS, as of December 27, 2005, the current cap count for H-1B advance degree exemption (FY 2006) is as follows: beneficiaries approved: 16,478: Beneficiaries pending: 2,158; and 1,364 left.

Comparing with the cap count released as of December 9 (left: 2,564), we can find that 1,200 H-1B visas were used in eighteen days. We predict that the left 1,364 H-1B visas will run out soon.
