Zehra Rizvi, J.D., |
Zehra Rizvi is licensed to practice law in the state of Texas. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Texas at Arlington with a B.S. in Economics. She received her J.D. with honors from the University of Houston Law Center in 2011. During law school, Zehra served as an associate editor for the Houston Law Review. She also participated in the Immigration Clinic as a student attorney, where she advocated for indigent clients by filing briefs with the Board of Immigration Appeals and appeared in court on their behalf. This experience strengthened Zehra's commitment to helping immigrants and led her to choose a career in immigration law. Zehra enjoys experiencing new cultures, and she spent part of her second summer in law school studying abroad in Prague and traveling throughout Europe. Prior to joining Zhang & Associates, Zehra gained oil and gas experience by performing due diligence for a multi-billion dollar corporate acquisition.
Zehra is fluent in English and Urdu. She was born in Pakistan, and immigrated to the United States with her family at a young age. In her free time, Zehra enjoys riding her bike, traveling and reading.
