For family-based immigration petitions (I-130), the application for adjustment of status should be filed with the USCIS Chicago Family Based Immigration Processing Center. For employment-based immigration petitions (I-140), the application for adjustment of status should be filed with the USCIS Nebraska Service Center or with the USCIS Texas Service Center, depending on the geographical location of the applicant.
